Shannon Stacey - All He Ever Dreamed (Kowalski #6)

Josh Kowalski is tired of holding down the fort—better known as the Northern Star Lodge—while his siblings are off living their dreams. Now that his oldest brother has returned to Whitford, Maine for good, Josh is free to chase some dreams of his own.

As the daughter of the lodge's longtime housekeeper, Katie Davis grew up alongside the Kowalski kids. Though she's always been "one of the guys", her feelings for Josh are anything but sisterly. And after a hot late-night encounter in the kitchen, it's clear Josh finally sees her as the woman she is.

Katie's been waiting years for Josh to notice her, but now that he has, she's afraid it's too late. Giving her heart to a man who can't wait to leave town is one sure way to have it broken. But Josh keeps coming up with excuses not to leave—could it be that everything he's ever wanted is closer than he could have imagined?

Ahhh Josh..(sighhh). Nothing like two best friends - one being in love with the other for years and the other not even having a clue. I just adore how Josh's family is all in on Katie's feelings and knowing Josh doesn't have a clue but through the series- there are little remarks made to him about it, but he never catches on. Now in this book, Josh finally gets a clue- YAY!

I couldn't put this book down (unless I absolutely had to, of course) And I was pretty much swooning the whole time and in love with Josh's character and more so with Katie. I have to say, I think Katie is my favorite heroine so far in the Kowalski series. She doesn't deny what she wants, and although she is a tom boy... she works a black cocktail dress.

From the first time they hook up to figruing out the difference between what Josh wants in his future, enjoying their relationship and continuing to have a friendship.. the book is adorable, sexy and fun!

If you haven't read this series yet, and don't want to read all 5 books - I would have to say between #2 and this one are DEFINITE reads.

4 STARS!

Shannon Stacey - All He Ever Desired (#5)

A second shot at first love

After college, Ryan Kowalski decided to leave Whitford, Maine, rather than watch Lauren Carpenter marry another man. Now his siblings need his help to refurbish the family-owned Northern Star Lodge and he’s forced to face the past sooner rather than later when he collars a vandal—and learns the boy is Lauren’s son…

The last person Lauren needs back in her life is Ryan Kowalski. With a bitter ex-husband and a moody teenage son, she has enough man trouble already. But her son needs to learn a few lessons about right and wrong, even if Lauren has to escort him to Ryan’s door every day to work off his crime.

With all this close contact, Ryan and Lauren can’t deny the chemistry between them is as powerful as ever. But can a few searing kisses erase their past and pave the way for a second chance at true love?
Aww.. Ryan! I pictured him so perfectly and loved everything about him. He was sweet, with just enough manly aattitude. He had a love for a girl that didn't like him back as a kid... and he came back with a whole different kind of love for her. Best part of this book was him reestablishing his feelings for Lauren. It wasn't the same as teens, and her feelings were not in the same place.. but now as adults, Ryan is irresistible and Lauren sticks rocks his socks! As I said in the other posts.. the Kowalski's kick ass as a family, and once again the lovely Rosie takes a big part in this book. You truly have to read this series starting at book #1, or you miss so much.

I also enjoyed how much the ventured into the other relationships from the past and showed where they are now.. and how many kids they have! They also dabbled a bit into the relationships that could soon become over the books that are to come!
I can honestly say - this is one book in the Kowalski series that I will no doubt be reading again!
4 STARS!

Shannon Stacey - All He Ever Needed (Kowalski #4)

He won’t stay put for a woman, and she won’t chase after any man…

Mitch Kowalski lives out of a suitcase—and he likes it that way. Traveling for work has the added bonus of scaring off women who would otherwise try to tie him down. But when he’s called home to help with the family lodge, he’s intrigued by the new girl in town and her insistence that she doesn’t need a man. If there’s one thing Mitch can’t resist, it’s a challenge.

After a nomadic childhood, Paige Sullivan is finally putting down roots. Determined to stand on her own two feet, she lives by the motto “Men are a luxury, not a necessity.” But when Mr. Tall, Dark and Hot pulls up a stool in her diner and offers her six weeks of naughty fun with a built-in expiration date, she’s tempted to indulge.

They’re the perfect match for a no-strings fling. Until they realize their sexy affair has become anything but casual…

In the 4th book in the Kowalski series by Shannon Stacey, I have to say - she brought some of the heat back! I enjoyed Mitch and Paige's story and the taming of the beast that Paige had to do with Mitch's womanizing ways. She was temped for so long and was able to put him off.. which built up quite the story for them in the end.

In Mitch's story we were introduced to more of the crazy Kowalski family - being on Sean's side (from book #3) of the family; including his oldest brother Mitch & Ryan along with the younger brother Josh (whose story is #6). I enjoyed this side of the family.. almost as much as the cousin side with Joe, Kevin and all of their siblings! Even better.. in this new side of the Kowalski's we get a side narrator... Rosie! I love Rosie - who is the housekeeper/fill in mother for the Kowalski boys. She is so sweet and I love her little manipulative ways - while still putting the boys in check as adults.

I truly think Shannon Stacey brought it back with book #5 - and I give her back to being a 5 STAR book!

Shannon Stacey - Yours to Keep (Kowalski #3)

Sean Kowalski no sooner leaves the Army than he's recruited by Emma Shaw to be her fake fiance. Emma needs to produce a husband-to-be for her grandmother's upcoming visit, and, though Sean doesn't like the deception, he could use the landscaping job Emma's offering while he decides what to do with his civilian life. And, despite his attraction to Emma, there's no chance he'll fall for a woman with deep roots in a town he's not planning to call home.

Emma's not interested in a real relationship either; not with a man whose idea of home is wherever he drops his duffel bag. No matter how amazing his "pretend" kisses are...
Back again with the Kowalski series from Shannon Stacey. I have to say.. from the three books that I have read so far, this one is my least favorite. Although I think Sean seems like a sweet character, as well as Emma- there just wasn't enough OOMPH for me in this book. I never felt much of the chemistry in through out it and tended to look more forward to the parts with the family in them... since, I did love me some Joe & Kevin from the first two books.. and both of the heroine characters!

I'm glad that this book stayed with in New Hampshire atmosphere - where all the other Kowalski family resides, and didn't leave them out of the plot line.
This book was mediocre to me and I could have done with or with out it... although there were parts that were cute and made me laugh.
3 stars!

Shannon Stacey - Undeniably Yours (Kowalski #2)

Can a one-night stand turn into happily ever after?
Bar owner Kevin Kowalski is used to women throwing their phone numbers at him. Even if lately he's been more interested in finding Mrs. Right than Miss Right. Now Enter Beth Hansen. Kevin and Beth may have started out all wrong, with an impromptu passionate encounter at a wedding, followed by a walk of shame. Yet Kevin knows there's more to their relationship than a one-night stand. Especially when Beth turns up pregnant. Kevin may be ready for the "next step," but Beth doesn't want a relationship with a former playboy, however irresistible he might be. And it's going to take a lot to convince her to go on a second date with the father of her child….

I LOVED this story line! There were many points of laughing and even points where I had to stop and put the book down for a second and really thing.. HOLY CRAP - what if that happened? And what would I do? I would so entranced by this book, I couldn't put it down. I thought I loved Joe Kowalski, from book #1 in this series, and I do- but Kevin ... just melts me! He is so attentive and sweet, but such a ladies man and hunk that you just can't help but fall in love with him. The only negative that kind of bothered me was the whole "kiss on the napkin" thing. I mean honestly? Would that ever happen that EVERY girl in town would know to write those things? I could definitely see a guy getting a lot of numbers and that being a part of the joke - but the napkins ordeal was a little weird for. (HAVEN'T READ IT?? Don't let that little negative stop you - Kevin is adorbs!

From the beginning Kevin wants him a piece of Beth - and when she finally gives in to him and finds out she is pregnant 3 weeks later.. the story provided such a great way of how it would be handled in real life. Oh SHIT and well.. what are you going to do??

I was also happy to have the family back in the plot... they are one adorable little family that makes me laugh.

Shannon Stacey does it again in another great novel in the Kowalski series! :)

4 stars!

Shannon Stacey - Exclusively Yours (Kowalski Family, #1)

When Keri Daniels' editor finds out she has previous carnal knowledge of reclusive bestselling author Joe Kowalski, she gives Keri a choice: get an interview or get a new job.

Joe's never forgotten the first girl to break his heart, so he's intrigued to hear Keri's back in town--and looking for him. Despite his intense need for privacy, he'll grant Keri an interview if it means a chance to finish what they started in high school.

He proposes an outrageous plan--for every day she survives with his family on their annual camping and four-wheeling trip, Keri can ask one question. Keri agrees; she's worked too hard to walk away from her career.

But the chemistry between them is still as potent as the bug spray, Joe's sister is out to avenge his broken heart and Keri hasn't ridden an ATV since she was ten. Who knew a little blackmail, a whole lot of family and some sizzling romantic interludes could make Keri reconsider the old dream of Keri & Joe 2gether 4ever.

I thought this book was adorable and had a great time reading it. It was definitely hard to put down and I fell in love with Joe Kowalski immediately. In the beginning I was a little worried of how fast Joe was to jump back into things with Kerri, but once the story line continued to show the chemistry between the two of them and the past they always had while growing up together- I totally got it and thought it flowed nicely. I wish that there would have been more conversations between them regarding how Joe felt of Kerri leaving him in dust when they were eighteen and how he felt.. but it was honest with the story line of how he ended up using alcohol as an outage of his hurt. I'm as very happy with how the Kowalski series started off with Joe and their two week get away of camping, which showed all the fun and crazy parts of his family and intertwine them to the story so much.. which was a great opener

If and/or when you read this.. my favorite part that left me all giddy and happy was when they were in the cabin alone were "playing hangman" a.k.a writing notes back and forth with each other.

I can't wait to experience the rest of the Kowalski's and get to see Kevin's side of the story in Undeniably Yours!

I definitely recommend reading #1 in the Kowalski
Thank you Shannon Stacy - I rate this with a big happy face and 4 stars!
